An independent game studio. Brewing strange worlds, slowly.
Now developing The Alley Chasms.
Somewhere between the dumpsters and the fire escapes, the city has started to split open. Something down there is glowing. Something down there is waiting. The Alley Chasms is the first game from Crowstew Studios.
Every alley hides a crack. Every crack goes deeper than it should.
Built piece by piece, with room for secrets in the corners.
The chasms are beautiful. That is exactly the problem.
Crowstew Studios is an independent game studio founded by Crowstew. We make games the slow way: every system, tool and pixel built by hand, tasted, and put back on the fire until it's right.
No publishers, no investors, no deadlines set by anyone but us. Just strange worlds we want to play, made for people who want to play them too.
We write our own tools. If something we need doesn't exist, we make it.
A game ships when it's good, not when a calendar says so.
No dark patterns. Buy the game, own the game, have a good time.
Where the game is right now. Updated as it happens.
A city that splits open. A world under the alleys.
Movement, the first chasm, and finding the fun.
Screenshots, a trailer, and a proper reveal.
Getting it into real hands and listening.
Out of the pot and onto your PC.
Before the studio, and alongside it, I build software I wish existed. Music tools, a keyboard-and-mouse sharer for my gaming rig, and whatever else I get obsessed with. They're all free, and they all live here too.
